MetricPull Privacy Policy
the short version
MetricPull does not collect your Health data or store it on developer servers, and it does not transmit Health data automatically. Health processing stays on your device unless you choose to export a file — and you pick where it goes.
data collection
MetricPull does not collect any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no developer backend. It does not automatically transmit Health data. MetricPull can open user-requested support, feedback, and Privacy Policy links, and the system share sheet can send an export to a destination the user chooses. Those external destinations have their own privacy practices.
health data
MetricPull requests read-only access to Apple Health data. The app never writes to Apple Health. Your Health data is used solely to generate exports and display Quick Metrics on your device. Health data is never transmitted off your device automatically — it is shared only when you explicitly use the iOS share sheet and choose a destination. Summary Analysis Kits contain health_export.csv and analysis_instructions.md. Log Entries and Raw Samples Analysis Kits contain those files plus metadata.json. Every package component is generated on your device. Once you share an export with another app or service, that recipient’s privacy policy applies to your copy of the data.
data storage
MetricPull stores saved export presets — including any Analysis Notes attached to them — and your appearance preference locally on your device using UserDefaults. Analysis Notes are included in an export only when you export that saved Summary preset with Analysis Kit enabled. Export files are created in temporary local storage for user-directed sharing, and eligible stale artifacts are cleaned up locally. No data is stored on external servers. There is no cloud sync, remote backup, or server-side storage.
third-party services
MetricPull does not use any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks. The app contains no third-party code.
children’s privacy
MetricPull does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

If this policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
